A family business, properly systemised
Personal service without the chaos.
Goodground is a fictional Brisbane multi-trade company founded by siblings Maya and Tom Weller. Maya came from electrical service and operations; Tom from plumbing and facilities maintenance.
They built one office around a simple idea: customers should not need to coordinate the gaps between trades, and a small business can be warm without being disorganised.

01Do not manufacture urgency.Separate what is unsafe now from what is sensible later.
02Protect the home around the repair.Floor coverings, tidy tools and cleanup are part of workmanship.
03Explain before asking for approval.Options, trade-offs and price come before the tools.
04Own the handover between trades.The customer should not become the project manager.
Credentials belong in the open
Proof should be specific, current and checkable.
This concept deliberately does not invent licence numbers, association badges or insurance certificates. A live implementation must display verified credentials for the real business and each regulated service.
